Well after testing my old P 55 system last night I discovered on my computer components except the motherboard and CPU have gone bad. So since I essentially got to build a whole new computer anyways I figure it's the time to upgrade the motherboard to something modern and see pewter something modern. i'm trying to decide between an EVGA or an Asus build. They're both good components and have their own high and low points. So I was wondering if anyone here remember my brother Christopher Ray Arthington also known as one cool cat. He used to work for Nvidia. So I was hoping you all might be able to help me choose what the best motherboard is to honor his memory. All I know is he like asus and EVGA's. He was also is a big fan of corsair memory. And he was still around I'm sure you and all of their newer products too. so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to build the most expensive system but I don't know what is the best way to go. My case is the Nvidia case they raffled off and memory of my brother at CES 2011. It is a Maingear or shift which is essentially a Silverstone raven. So if anyone can give me some suggestions for brands as to go with I would greatly appreciate it. I am going to use an AIO cooler for the CPU with the H80i v2 and official GTX 1080 TI's and SLI directly from Nvidia.

id like to stay under $2,100.00 US

2. Aim

It is a memorial PC for my brother who work for Nvidia. Also I DJ online at a high bit rate in a game called second life. Second life takes a hard-hit on the CPU and GPU at the same time. It does when you run it in any decent kind of settings anyways. I also play World of Warcraft and I candy mode as I call it. Basically means playing an ultra settings if I can. I'm also a Content Creator with editing photos and creating Anime Music Videos or also known as AMV's.

3. Monitors

at the moment I am running a 55" 1080i television. Not ideal I know. But I also want to upgrade to a Wacom Cintiq 27QHD touch eventually.

4. Peripherals

Logitech K350 and Logitech H600 to go with my Existing Logitech M570. Want a retail USB copy of windows 10 pro.

5. Why are you upgrading?

Main reason is is I haven't build a computer since 2009. As well as it says in memory of my brother. And my existing computer just is fried. When I tested it this morning the power supply started smoking for example. Only good parts left are the CPU and Motherboard.

For got to mention my case needs dual USB 2.0 ports and maybe a 3rd if I use a corsair CPU cooler

There are six nf-f12 to upgrade CPU cooler and four for the case. I'm going to have the case in a positive pressure setting to reduce that. Had to choose a new case because a test of the components I had last night and the power supply shorted everything out and shoes the case wiring to the motherboard banal think some of the plastic and as opposed to breaking the case I'm just going to use it as a display piece now.
