looking for homeserver case

Go to solution Solved by technovore,

I think the define R4 will suffice.

Silverstone GD-07!

I love that case. I recently build a server on it and its pretty damn sexy!

It has a cool implementation of HHD mounts and has dust filters everywhere.

It can accommodate around 5 120mm fans and 2 80mm fans if I'm not mistaken.

Cable management is a bit tight though. I suggest using a modular PSU or something with flat cables. :D

ALSO use Noctua fans. or if you can watercool the thing. (P.S I used the coolermaster 240v or somthing like that to cool the CPU but I ended using one of those uber slim fans like the Kaze June from Yate Loon to accomodate for it.)

Yea I think that is a good choice as well.  I would have said go with the nzxt source 210 as I have done but you are looking for a quiet case.

Edit:  Plus the R4 has dust filters.

Depending on what the system's being used for, a single quiet fan in the back of the Source 210 Elite for exhaust might do.
