I keep hearing this weird sound that sounds like a large static shock. It is coming from the area of my desktop it might just be me but the desktop is only a week old i just want to make sure that something is not going to fry. It might even still be parts setting for all i know I freak out because it is so expensive... i keep thinking the graphics card is sagging lol. any ideas just want to make sure everything is ok.

After another day it is still happening but it sounds more like plastic stressing... I know it was a tight fit on the cables and back panel perhaps it is just that setting still not really sure what is going on it seems to happen more when the fans are turned up. I checked the fans are not hitting anything.

This really isn't enough information for any sort of diagnosis...

Ιf the sound is coming from electricity it MIGHT be your #SURGE (witch probably has no grounding)

also: do you hear the sound only when your pc is on and how often?

From headphones or in general? I assume in general, so open case sidepanel and use your ears to pinpoint component causing that sound. If you have built system by yourself, do recheck that all fans are cleared from any cables that might be hitting blader.

Yeah we're gonna need more information to have any chance at all figuring out what it might be.

What information do you need... a clue would be nice.

I cheeked for cables none none it is in general maybe it is sound coming form my sound bar it pops on occasion.

I was also listing to my fans they are not anything fancy I think it might just be one of the fans making it every once and a while and it just sounds like a stacic shock but I willl continue to listen to find out more information seeing as how i only just noticed it last night.

It does not happen often.
