I was using blender to test. I found the problem though for some reason the termal paste wasn't working, It was still sticky after 3 months of use so i use replaced and it fixed it

1My I7 4790k is overheating at stock on a h100i. it hovers around 37c idle (14c ambient) and goes to 90c at 100% in about 10 seconds, then  when I turn off the stress test it goes back to 37 in like 5 seconds

What are your temps now? 

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti 

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

20s idle mid 50s underload and high 70s overclocked
