Noob looking for advice

I have never built a computer before and I am looking for some advice on the hard ware that I need. I have created a wish list on NewEgg with all of the components that I believe that I need. I already have an iFixit ProTech tool kit, keyboard, mouse, and display. Here is the list of parts that I have picked out so far:

Case: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 ATX full tower Black/silver

Processer: 7700k

Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 SDRAM 2800

Graphics card: GTX 1080Ti Founders

PSU: EVGA SuperNova 550W 80+ Gold

         EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 220-G2-0650-Y1 80+ Gold 650W

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H105 240mm

SSD: 850 EVO 1TB

OS: Windows 10 Home Full version / USB flash drive

Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver 5

(Added):

Norton Security with Antivirus Standard

Acronis True Image

Is there anything else that y'all can think of that I will need for a full system build from scratch? (hardware, cables, tools, etc.)

Every somponent comes with everything required to plug into every other component.  You'll be fine  as long as you have a couple screwdrivers

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

yes i'd recommend getting a 240 or 500 gb ssd and a 1 or 2 TB hdd.

also most coolers come with enough thermal paste to put it on once so you shouldn't have to buy a separate tube.

I have an external 4TB, 3TB, 2TB, and a 2TB portable HDD at my disposal. Anything more storage that I'd need can be added later.

NewEgg doesn't list thermal paste in the package contents.

You might want to consider a 650w PSU just to be safe. Also, specifically which PSU is this?

Otherwise it looks good, though 1tb SSD is kinda expensive. If you're fine with the cost then that's ok but otherwise you might want to consider 250gb/500gb+1tb/2tb HDD

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

While I like that idea, I use them for my laptop as well.

550W PSU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438049

I'll probably end up with this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817438054

I'm fine with the price of the SSD.

Eh, GS. It's ok, but not tier 1, which you should be going for if you're going this high end.

The G2 that you're probably gonna go for is fine.

For reference, I'm looking at the LTT PSU tier guide. Anything tier 3 or above is generally regarded as "good for all PCs" and anything under that should never be used.

The higher your budget the higher up you probably should go. Since you have a $1500-$2000 budget you should be going for tier 1. The G2 would be an excellent choice.
