Hi everyone

I'm building my own case at the moment and was approached by a local shop that wants to sponsor the build. They're offering the above mentioned Thermaltake 430 TR2.

From what I can find on the internet that's a pretty old powersupply and wasn't very good. It isn't bad either so I don't know what to do.

I'm building a 6th or 7th generacion intel i5 system and with it being so old I'm not sure it's compatible. I won't be putting any graphicscard in at the moment so I think the 430 ( or from what I can read online 350) watt should be enough?

The motherboard for this build is the Gigabyte H170n wifi

Do you advise against this old PSU for a modern build? The ones that are available to me at an accesable price are no name, generic 450 watt powersupplies, so I'm guessing this should be a little better?

It's a bad PSU. Get a better one.

Don't cheap on PSU.

The TR2 has a few weird really food units but that one is not good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
