Hey guys so funny thing here. I installed Ubuntu in a vm on my sisters old A4 apu laptop. It has 3D hardware acceleration enabled. I also have a linux container running debian on my s7e (which ofcourse is using the hardware and androids own linux kernal). Glxgears fps scores of s7e matches the apu time to time. ??

Idk if I should applaud soc makers or if I should laugh at the A4 ?

I think you should laugh at the laptop A4. This is my A4 desktop 7300:

13104 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2620.691 FPS
13146 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2629.123 FPS
13477 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2695.197 FPS
13236 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2647.141 FPS
13252 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2650.297 FPS
13465 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2692.851 FPS
13245 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2646.947 FPS
13542 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2708.358 FPS
13189 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2637.701 FPS
13498 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2699.506 FPS
13191 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2636.285 FPS
13490 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2697.910 FPS
13598 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2719.576 FPS
13730 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2745.864 FPS
13893 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2778.475 FPS

My GTX 1060 is getting over 16000 FPS.

I might try my celeron laptop later because that has a really shitty iGPU

Ahaha tell me about it, my desktop 970 does wonders, similar to your 1060 iirc, but damn arm soc is champing it ??.

Makes it an interesting little device to visualize simulation data if opengl on arm is decent ?
