Question about headphones

So I've gone through my share of gaming headsets And finally decided to get some good headphones and a mic. First attempt is the mono price 8323's, they are ok but just not quite wow me. Next I ordered the superlux hd668B which took some doing due to the stock always being low on amazon of late. My querstion is, can I use the vmoda boom pro mic with them? I think I've read the connectors don't match up, in which case I just wasted 30$ on the vmoda. I also have a Sony lav mic I could use as well as a zalman zm 1. I bought the replacement pads for the superlux as the reviews all said stock is trash. Any thoughts? I'm on PS4. Also I have a splitter already in case in need to go that route.
