When I wipe my drive will I be able to re use my key?

 

second question how do I wipe my drive? It's a samsung 850 evo 250 gb

i wanna wipe it completely so no one can get credit information

I usually wipe my drives with a damp cloth to make sure there is nothing left on them

yea you can reuse your key in the same pc. windows should activate as long as there are no hardware changes in the pc. just boot to the USB and start windows setup, at the 'select disk' stage or something like that, delete all the partitions listed. should be good enough, unless you wanna do a low level format which will take much more hours. better yet, keep the hdd.
