Yeah If you are not overclocking it ARMOUR should be plenty. I don't over-clock either (use the cards for 24/7 round the clock renders so don't want to decrease their lifetime) so I go with blower style cards.

I was looking at a blower style card as I'm planning to transfer my build to a much smaller case but ironically they're some of the most expensive I can find xD

Yes, I use multiple (NON SLI) blower style cards in my render box to keep internals heat down.

Only 20 quid more than the ARMOR and they work great. I have a MSI 1080 Aero pushing pixels round the clock with no throttling.

That's a pretty good price for a 1070. I doubt vega will have a large perf/$ improvement so my vote is the armor.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Typical that I'd forget to check for blower style cards on Amazon!
