One thing I want to ask before everything else, is the PC still under warranty?

First thing, is the sound coming from the computer or a set of speakers/headphones?

No. I chatted with a microsoft support agent and surprisingly they fixed the problem. I used their live chat and Risza helped me. I was able to get to the windows 10 troubleshooting tools and refresh the pc. It worked fine after that. I thought that MS Support would be crappy but it wasn't.

I bought an asus oculus ready pc (I was too lazy to build one myself) and ive been using it with the htc vive. all of the sudden the sound glitches and I hear a continuous sound that sounds like when you pug something in via usb. the pc BSODs and restarts. after post (even in safe mode) it will blue screen immediately. I haven't overclocked anything, CPU or GPU. It has a core i5 6400 and a gtx 970. PLZ HELP. Also, id like, if possible to do something without going inside the computer. ASUS, of all companies, put a warenty sticker there.

Build:

Intel Core I7 6700k (clocked to 4.6ghz)

Patriot Viper 3000mhz ddr4

ASUS maximus 8 hero (I hate this mobo)

Evga gtx 1080 superclocked

250GB Samsung 850 evo

2tb WD Black 7200rpm

Ek watercooling kit a240g with 360 expansion pack

Primochill Vue Red fluid

Corsair Graphite 600t (white)

You thought "Gee, Donald Trump sure has a great build!"
