Pcpartpicker says that a noctua NH-D14 may need a mounting adapter for the MSI B350 Tomahawk.

 

does it need one or do I need to buy one and where can i find it?

You will need it. You can contact Noctua to get one with a proof of purchase.

Yeah, but contact support. If you have receipt for D14, you will get it for free. Noctua has policy to give free upgrade kits.
