Will RAM affect GPU performance? (not VRAM)

I notice that during gaming, my RAM usage is high (almost 90%) and lags will occur if I tune up the video settings. (lags will disappear if I tune down the settings)
Is low amount of RAM the cause of lags in games? Or the GPU is defective?

Well when u are out of memory ur system will use hard drive/ssd as a memory and its a lot slower thats why.

How much ram u have in ur system?

Yes, 4GB of RAM is just too low for gaming these days.

Check the background process in your task manager that might eating up your memory.

it can be a memory leak as well.

Sadly the system already eats up 2.4GB after startup. No background process that eats the memory heavily

Memory leak is when u close a certain program, the program disappear but the process still remain which can eat up memory for nothing the only way to fix it its to identify the process and kill it with task manager
