Choosing a new external hard drive

No name generic in harddrives tend to not perform worst? you have get 128gb harddrives for 20$.

Local thrift shop had an actual working 4.3 gb Maxtor drive for 1 euro. Considering it still works, it's "the best", and I consider 1 euro to be "cheapest" other then for free. And it is/was even a brand!

I prefer Western Digital or Seagate about 1TB less than $100
