OK, so I have new build and an AIO cooling my cpu. Doing well, have my 6700k oc'd to 4.7 fairly cool, mid to upper 20's idle, mid to upper 70's prime 95 small FFT test at 1.335 vcore, can get 4.8 at 1.415 vcore but I am hitting 90+ temps ....but tbh this just whetted my appetite for more water now and I pieced together a fairly decent custom loop. Maybe I am rambling because I really want to ask about a gpu block.

I have a gigabyte g1 gaming rx480 and really just want to check if to see if it would work with the waterblocks that are available. Seems close enough to reference design, can someone double check me?

PS: Seems so, but I may be an idiot so who knows. Bug has been bitten, so going water, and just may get a better reference 1080 or Vega card later and pass on my card and block to a friend.

Any alternatives like universal, or am I just barking up the wrong tree?

EKWB has universal blocks but on a RX480 mid tier card you won't really see much of a benefit with watercooling.
