Yes, it only OCs RAM up to 2400mhz. Youcan buy higher rated kits if they are cheaper, but outside of that, you don't need to bother.

okay i really want to know a 7700 non K  with B bord really out performs a 7600k with z270 board

whichever is cheaper for you and have better customer service in your area.
