Alright, so my computer is being odd. It will show that my computer is loading up Windows on the monitor, then the monitor loses all signal and falls asleep but the computer is still working. I know it is still working because I plugged it into my TV and it displayed the log in.

The computer could be outputting a resolution the monitor can't display. What is the monitor's native resolution?

Try using your TV to reinstall the graphics card drivers.
