Keyboard backlit dyi

Hi guys! I was just sitting here thinking about my cheap backlit mechanical keyboard that have preset backlit light (fn+1....9) wondering since they preset can I make my own preset? (sorry for my english)

if yes do any of you guys know how? keep in mind my keyboard is cheap so it doesnt have like razer or cosair programmable backlit

Maybe but chances are it is programmed on a chip which was programmed and then soldered to the board meaning it would be really hard to reprogram it and would not be easy as it probably has some weird code to control it.
