Was anyone able to play Splatoon 2 during the global testfire?

I kept getting a "network unreachable" error. Had the game preloaded on my switch and I logged on exactly at 11:00PM EST. No dice. Anyone get to play and want to share your thoughts?


Edit: It's still going on today and tomorrow for those wondering.

I'm pretty sure the times were in Pacific time, though I am unsure because I didn't get to play on the test fire myself. I was just too busy :/ (Heard it had a great outcome though, the game looks great!)
