Gigabyte's new dual fan coolers aren't that great, as seen on the Rx480. I recommend msi or asus. Even though it doesn't overheat and throttle on the GTX 1060, it's still not good as the others.

You got anything to back up your claim. I own a G1 gaming 1060 and it overclocks pretty well. I'm at 2088 core and 9400 on memory and it doesn't go above 65C.

Gigabyte's cooling solution for 480 is completely different from the one in 1060.

It is a bit different, the 1060 g1 is bigger, but the RX 480 one has a single more heatpipe. That still does not make it as good as the competition. The msi one has to spin at way lower fan speeds to reach the same temperature.
