Hey guys! I wanted to ask you guys that will this work with my router and my computer?

my router is  a D-LINK 2730U router.

 http://www.flipkart.com/d-link-ncb-5eublur1-3-data-cable/p/itmdbhyhvgnd9f6r?pid=ACCDBHXY7HP5HH6H&otracker=from-search&srno=t_5&query=cables&ref=99b76980-3b12-4f7d-b7d8-cb94a6475e25

What is this cable exactly? Should i put it in the LAN port of the router and then connect to where the LAN cable connects?

Thanks

That cable is just plain old Cat5e ethernet cable. Nothing unusual and nothing amazing. Should work fine. What I think you are trying to do should work with any rj45 ethernet cable (Probably best to stick with Cat5e or Cat6.)

Yeah any standard ethernet cable like that will work with any router. One end into the LAN port on your Router, the other into the PC's ethernet port.

The best cable to use is Cat6, RJ45 is just the connection type. it is not a type of cable.

This is what the RJ45 connector looks like.
