No 7950 rebrand?

Isn't there a 7950 rebrand in the range of new AMD GPUs? I was hoping to buy one and CF it with my 7950.

Why do i always get blue screens? Why not a red one for a change?

r9 280 non x should be a 7950 or round abouts that level.

 

If I were you I would just grab a 7950 on sale atm, they are going so cheap at the moment

I haven't seen a 280 anywhere... Also, 7970s are 120 euros more than 280x in my country and the 7950 VaporX is 280 euros, they are not on sale here unfortunately.

280 non x isn't released yet. But it should be a 7950 rebrand I would imagine.

 

And bummer about there being no sales. It's a golden time to pick up a 7950

I know.... Freaking retailers here don't get them in stock, they order them from warehouses when someone places his order and make you wait a month until you get it. Without stock, there are no sales...

You can't crossfire a 280 and a 7950, one has a crossfire bridge, the other doesn't.  :unsure:

There still are 7950s out in the wild, I'm getting my 2nd one around Christmas time :)

The 280x is a rebrand of the 7970 and has a crossfire bridge and can be crossfired with a 7970, if the 280 is a rebrand of the 7950 why shouldn't I be able to?

Nvm, you're right. I'm blind sorry about that! I thought none of them had xfire connectors.
