for so.e reason i just put the i3 chip into my pc so i can upgrade the bios to support my 7th gen i5 but it starts up and goes straight to windows (running windows 7) thr nit where the pieces of the flag go around in spirals and connect togetger to make the windows flag, but it only gets to the start of that when i get the blue screen of death and my pc resets itself. if someone can help me i would be very greatful and also system rrpair doesnt work because it says it cant repair the problem automatically.

Heres my specs atm

So... did you upgrade to an i5 from an i3 or vice versa and after you updated your BIOS you got a bluescreen? You could also try to reseat your CPU if thats what you said, i'm not sure if thats what you meant.

Try what @tp95112 is suggesting though, cause the culprit also might be corrupt BIOS settings

Bios is running sweet and windows start up repair works all good but in still getting the same blue screen of death at windows

:(

Only solution is to do a fresh install, which is what you always should do with a cpu upgrade. Also make sure your bios verson is 2003 or higher(from this article )
