Laptop for professional Software Developer

Hello everyone. 

 

It's not often that I post on forums but this time I'm in a real tears as to what to choose and I need someones help or advice.

I currently own an ASUS UX303LN ultrabook, equipped with i5-5200U, 12GB RAM (can't get more unfortunately), 240GB SSD and GF 840M.

I want to swap to something more powerful - mostly with much better CPU, since this processor really can't handle complex solutions in visual studio for me.

In my country (Poland) it's currently valued at approx 2800PLN (~700USD) and that's what I could sell it for, used.

My first choice is DELL XPS 15" 9550 (older, 2016 model) with i7-6700HQ, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 4K screen and 960M for 7000PLN (~1760USD). I don't really care about graphics, since I game on my PC and laptop will be used strictly for work and occasional movies. 

And here comes the main question - is there anyone else better than DELL for this kind of money? I know, MacBooks, but as a (mostly) .NET Developer I can't really rely on OSX for this kind of job for now.

Sorry I can't look up polish websites but here in nz Lenovo and dell are comparable. Other brands are either not in our market or are shit. Have a look if lenovo has a good deal for think pads, they differ in each region

I've looked for Lenovo X1's but they mostly offer "U" CPUs and are more expensive than DELL.
