what is a good cpu temp under load? (cinebench)

During a test like that, with the CPU at 100% load constantly, I'm happy if it stays under 85C. During normal use I'd want my CPU to stay under 75C.

That's within safe operating temperatures for CPUs and won't cause thermal throttling.

Some people want their temps to be lower but I prefer to have a quiet system and my fan speeds not too high.

Does you mum know you're here?

SIV - System Information Viewer is comprehensive, and gives you access to a lot of things but isn't the most flashy looking. Quite a few people who do BOINC use it for checking things are looking fine and if you come across any problems. Apparently the developer is a good guy and gets things fixed pretty quickly if there are any problems too, although I haven't personally need to.
