I have had my galaxy s5 for about 2 years, its been great and I plan on having it for at least another year. I really don't know how long ago I noticed this problem but the phone will get pretty hot after only about 10 minutes of use (not even anything intense like gaming or videos). The phone will get hot on the screen and the back. Now I'm no phone expert but I would think the battery is the only thing  that could get very hot in a phone. Since the S5 has the removeable battery I could very easily get a new one. But would that fix the problem? Thanks

not only the battery, but the SOC can get very hot too! check if you have any background apps hogging the CPU.
