OK first, if the R55UQ got erased, how did he copy files from his phone. Also, can you still turn on the phone/ does the phone still work?

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Can you send a screen shot? The contents could just be hidden.

Do this :

  1. Go to Command Prompt (CMD)
  2. Type the drive letter that is affected, example G:
  3. Now type in attrib -s -h -r /s /d then enter, the blinking line will go down again.
  4. Go to your drive, and see if you can now see all of the hidden files now.

Could be a spare drive, and not C?

Sounds like something sinister is going on.

The drive where the game was installed on, not C, and yes his phone is working

The drive(not C) is empty

So going to properties of that drive would show it's capacity as FREE SPACE? If you haven't tried this yet, right click on the drive and tick properties, let us know what you see on the pie graph.

My friend already copied things again on that partition.
