I've been getting random issues related to starting up my pc.

Case 1:

I press power button -> ASUS screen with wheel -> then to desktop. It completely skips the screen where it displays my username and there's this window that pops up for less than 1 second and then closes (doesn't say what it is on taskbar).

Case 2:

I press power button -> ASUS screen with wheel -> displays my username but says recovering windows (or repairing) -> after 10-15 seconds it boots but now my saved wallpaper is gone and the default windows 10 wallpaper is displayed and there's a notification saying that some of my stuff is gone (although hard drives all look the same), I think it might've said something about temporary files in the notification. Most of my saved taskbar programs and desktop shortcuts are gone too.

Case 2 is a rare occurrence and idm case 1 happening as long as everything is still there. I tried to look up case 2 on the internet and there's actually nothing of the sort.

I would run a virus malwhere and spywhere scan. Go into taskmagager and look at the startup tab and make sure that there is nothng suspisious. If the issue still persists then I would recomned re-install anything.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
