880k default vcore

Has any of you any idea about the AMD's 880k default vcore? Mine seems to stay at @ 1.5v with default clock for no reason. On idle.

I don't know what the default should be, but 1.5 V seems dangerously high...

I know, but I'm pretty sure it will run without problems @ 1.4 V, which seems a bit more reasonable...

I am really done with this 880k, it is messing with me. I did a stability test on 1.53V(the last voltage it had and the biggest) and the temps were easily reaching 67degC on full load and even passing that temp. I simply restarted the PC and did a simple 'load optimized default' from BIOS hoping it will work better and surely it did. Keep in mind. Default clock(4.0-4.2boost) with 1.53v was running VERY HOT. 

Now, I did some OC and on 4.4 with boost to 4.5(a few days ago I was not able to reach 4.4-4.5 under the same voltage because the windows was crashing very fast, like 2 minutes) and it runs for over 10 minutes at MAXIMUM 54degC full load. 

Conclusion?

AMD is for playful persons that won't get mad that easily.
