So I'll make this quick because I have said this many times on many sites (ubi support :/). So I tried out the crew a long time ago. I had some weird calling all units demo version. Then I got the game for free (ubi30) and now I have a second demo like version of calling all units. The desktop icon is calling all units, the menu is calling all units, the hell is calling all units, how do I get rid of calling all units, please help me or people will start calling all units. I was supposed to get the base game for free why the f do I have calling all units, does anyone else have this problem?

P.S: Sorry I was pissed, just couldn't help it anymore. BTW press clr f and type in calling all units. Pretty crazy.

It is because they want you to buy calling all units DLC, they given you the base game for free, they have to make money somehow.

I also have the free version that Ubisoft gave away during 30-year event, despite what the splash screen, title screen, and the icon say it is just the base version of the game.

Then that has to be the worst thing I have ever seen a developer do. I am not buying a single ubisoft title again. It's crazy, they are doing something worse than god damn win rar and it's license purchase pop ups. Jesus christ, I thought what I was seeing was a glitch or some kind of purchase error. I would have never thought that a developer could go above and beyond to that extent to squeeze some money out of me. I have one question for you guys tho, if I were someone who had bought the base game would I see that too? Because if so, I am just done with uplay, I have a few games on there that I bought but if they pulled this greedy trick out of their ass for everyone, including people who bought the game, I am deleting uplay and never setting eyes on that app again. Now excuse my while I go outside and curse ubisoft.

Well, I am sorry to disappoint, but this kind of thing happens all the time. Ubisoft is not the first nor last company/developer that pushes its product in hopes that you will buy it.

I really don't know why are you so upset with this. If you like the game just play it and ignore the CaU bits in it. It is not a hard thing to do.
