Multiple Wireless Displays

Well, power is not an issue. Should I use wireless transmitter, each location of the monitors has their own power outlets. All other factors currently are not an issue to me. Only the fact that is wireless is possible or not. As for making grooves within the wall... Err... Was going for wireless to avoid doing so in the first place, hence.

On a side note, is there a technology currently that allows transmission of video output through Wifi or any other wireless networking methods?

No i don't think so. Unless they are mirroring your current display. But extending them would not be possible unless you run a cable to them from your device (like a pc)

Hello, I'm currently faced with this issue. I have plans to connect 4 displays together without the hassle of wires. This is due to the fact that each monitor is around 5 m away from the desktop and having wires everywhere is no fun. Are there any solutions for this attempt of mine? I did research on stuff such as Chromecast, Intel's WiDi and AMD's Wireless Display Technology. However as far as I can conclude, these are only suitable for mirroring (except for Chromecast with a little playing around ). If possible, I would like to connect all of these displays together like a regular multiple monitor setup, minus the wires. Latency is not an issue. HDMI Wireless Transmitter are the perfect ones, but with 4 displays requiring 4 separate transmitter each at over MYR1000+ or over USD110 each, it is simply too expensive.

If truly this is currently impossible, I don't mind having a single wire such as Ethernet cable to travel the distance and then split to connect all those monitors, but is that even possible?

Much thanks in advance.

I dont think you can do wireless. It's going to have to get the power from somewhere. Unless you are using aio's. Which still would not connect extend the displays unless connected.

Besides that what you can do is try and make a whole in the wall and run the cables thru. I would do this but i dont think a whole would look good if you try to sell the house
