Windows won't install

So go got home from a week Long trip and I tried booting up the old toaster. Then I got a message asking me to install boot device. I went to my bios and my ssd was not being detected so I loaded up windows 10 tried installing it would not work. Then I tried to format my hdd too and it would not install on it either. I tried all of the disk part stuff I just have no idea what is wrong.

Try both drives in another computer. Sounds like you may have a dead controller.

See if a Linux OS will detect them. As Jamiec1130 said, it might be a controller issue

How do I see if it is a dead controller and how do I fix it

When I do click on the ssd to install windows it does say "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

That seems like the controller is bad. The only way (usually) to fix it is to use an add-in controller card. Try the disks in another system though.
