Your problem I am betting is you're plugging a 3.5mm jack into the back or front of your PC. PCs generate a large amount of electromagnetic interference (EMI), or basically white background noise. To isolate that you're going to want a simple USB DAC like this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1123982&gclid=CK6DpszO2dICFUKSfgod9qwOeg&Q=&ap=y&m=Y&c3api=1876%2C92051677682%2C&is=REG&A=details

It will also likely boost the voltage going to your mic, solving the quiet mic issue as well.

I can't promise for sure that is the solution, but it is a 7 dollar expense. If you are happy with the headset it may be worth it. It may fix some, all, or none of these issues, but I give 50% odds it will solve them all and 25% odds it will solve the white noise issue only. So your call!
