Hi,

I've been noticing this for a little while but never bothered to post about this until now. More often then not when im loading into overwatch for example the game just loads very slowly all the assets and what not of the start screen the game will just show like blue diamonds loading in the screen and i see all the menu's but can't see like the hero standing there off the bat. Also when i go into my first match all the other players are invisible and just have bullets flying that kill me and I can't see them for a little while until the game fully loads in. What do you guys think would most likely be causing this problem the only things I can think of are my HDD, PSU, or RAM.

My Specs:

CPU: i5-4690k OC @4.2GHz

CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO

HDD: Toshiba 1TB DT01A something

Ram: 12gb 1600mhz

GPU: Asus Gtx 1070

PSU: corsair cs650m

Honestly i think it's the gpu. Try playing with the built in graphics. (lower your quality quite a lot) and check.

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

Maybe your hard drive is dying I suppose. Could try a fresh windows install or before that, use cCleaner to clean out some shit and then do a full defrag.

Ive done a fresh install of windows a few times not long ago, but it always seems to have some type of problem i always just thought it was my hdd or ram considering there the only parts i havnt upgraded from my prebuilt machine long ago.

It's a relatively new gpu you really think it would be the problem? I don't notice any fps drops just load in problems with only overwatch and loading things in my system is generally slow as well.

Try another hard drive then. Just get a fresh one and only install overwatch to it and see how it is. Leave the os etc on the one you have now.

It probably is your hard drive. You say it's prebuilt and it's one of the only parts not be upgraded in a while, so it would make sense that that may be the problem

I don't think it's your gpu though.

I have been thinking there may be a problem with my gpu for a couple reasons also but mainly just cuz im not maxing 60fps on witcher 3 with hairworks on. Is it possible gpu being dusty but not affecting temps can still make its performance suffer? because my temps are fine

Hairworks is a fps killer. If you're using hairworks, then turn off hairworks anti-aliasing. Dust wouldn't really cause any problems if your temps are fine.

Thing is tho i like hairworks but i know it kills fps, but when i first got my new gpu i could run it at 60fps no problem no drops anywhere. 1080p res

You can keep hairworks on, just turn down the hairworks anti-aliasing.
