i am planning to play fps and open world like skyrim. I was wondering if my pc build will bottleneck and if these are the best parts for the price.

 

 

any recommendations for a cheep 1920 1080 144hz monitor and a HDD

Thats actually a really good price! If I were you, just get a 1060 if it has a marginal decrease in price though.

If he is going to only play games like skyrim, the price wouldn't be justified and buying a 1070 wouldn't be justified.

We're not talking about Skyrim. He mentioned he wants to play FPS games on a 144hz monitor. A 1060 is not going to put out anywhere near 144fps @1080p in a game like BF1, for example.

skyrim + mods than tell me, 1080p 144fps skyrim with mods is worth getting a 1070 for.
