hey guys my mum dropped her s2 on the floor and broke the whole screen so i have to set her up a new phone. Is there any way to retrieve contacts when you like plug the phone into a computer or are her contacts etc pretty much impossible to get back

They may be stored on the sim card, if not you should be able to get it from the phone.

They may be stored on the sim card, if not you should be able to get it from the phone.

doesn't seem to be on the sim :c ill have to play around with it

hmm if you open the phone's content on your PC you should be able to find it in the application data, it could be stored alongside your applications

If you use the Kies software you should be able to back it all up onto the PC, then restore on the new phone (presuming you/she gets another Samsung).

Huh..... Alright, well the next best bet would be to extract the contact info from Kies (hopefully) then manually type the contacts into the iPhone...
