Memory buying help!

Go to solution Solved by Titanicium,

No need for over 1866 Mhz when you are not using an APU (every CPU is actually a APU, but not in the same way ;) ) so just go for the 1866 one :)

Or just the best looking kit available in your opinion ;)

Hi guys! I'm planning to buy a new set of RAM for my system and I need your help.

I need to know which of these is best to buy for my system (Specs are on my sig)..

Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB 4x2 DDR3 2400 CL11

Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB 4x2 DDR3 2133 CL9

Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer Memory 8GB 4x2 DDR3 1866 CL9

Btw, these memory kits are priced almost the same as each other on the shop that I looked at so the budget will be ok for me now.

I just wanna know:

1. Best Memory kit for me to buy

2. Will there be a difference if I get 2400 CL11 than a 2133 CL9/1866 CL9

3. Your take on it and if you have other suggestions

Thanks guys! :)

Unless you're running an APU or are doing some seriously heavy video editing, the speed of ram will make very little to no difference and will be unnoticeable 99% of the time.

So I should go with the 1866 CL9 one?

Sure.

You could just go with any CL9 ram though. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Even 1333 would feel the same.
