Hello there, can't seem to find much review comparing the new HB bridges available so I guess thats because they offer the same results. However, since the Nvidia one is locked at 2 way SLI, I was wondering if it was faster than lets say the EVGA or ROG one (MSI one only works with MSI board as far as I know). I currently have the nvidia one in my build but for my next build I want one to match my theme so this is why im looking elsewhere if the performance are the same.

A cable is a cable, at the end of the day. While all cables arent built alike, i doubt you would notice any kind of perceivable difference between SLI bridges.

The reason the HB bridge is "locked at 2 way SLI" is that the Pascal cards are limited to 2 way SLI for most software and only a handful of programs (mostly benchmarks) can use 3 and 4 way SLI. Additionally, each card only has two SLI connecters which the High Bandwidth bridges merge together into one connection making it impossible for 3 way and 4 way connections to be made. This in theory would double the speed of the HB bridges over the non-HB bridges. Unfortunately, the HB bridges scale about as well as SLI itself (and XFire for that matter). In other words, in some programs you will see a noticable difference and in others, you won't.
