I'm going to use an old Pentium 3 or Pentium 4 machine to create a TAILS thing. (not sure on terminology sorry) im just wondering if they will be fast enough and also how much does TAILS slow your connection speed down by? I have a 75 down and a 25 up connection and don't want it to be slow.

Thanks

The only way a computer can slow down the network is if it hogs up the network for itself or tells the network to speak at a lower speed. Otherwise, the network should not care who or what is talking to it.

You would be able to run it just fine, as long as you have at least 2 GB of RAM. You would be able to run with less to an extent, but it wouldn't run as smooth.
