Hello forum,

So im thinking of buying a controller along my pc

and i have decided to getting the Xbox One controller (white version)

while i was browsing my countries eshop i stumbled upon a

"Microsoft Xbox One New Controller" and was told by my friends

that it is the same thing as the Xbox One S controller.

My question is weather this controller is compatible with a PC because

even though the site says it is compatible with xbox one, pc and

tablets running Windows 10, some friends told me that it may mean

that the controller can only charge on the pc and not be able to play

on it.

PS. I would also like to make sure that the "New controller"

is the same thing as the "S controller"

Here is the link to the controller and sorry if you dont understand anything

you are not obliged to waste your time trying to figure what it says :D

the only difference would be that one is compatible with the xbox one s, and the other isn't. As for the pc, I have a windows 10 pc, and I use xbox one controller. It comes with the usb thing that I have to plug into the pc. So yea it is compatible. I recommend getting the black one, so that you can't see the stains, but everything else is fine

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

All Xbox One controllers are compatible with all versions of the Xbox One.

All Xbox One controllers are compatible and usable on Windows 10 PC. All can be plugged in Via Micro USB cable or using the Wireless USB dongle. The newest one also has bluetooth connectivity if you would rather use that for tablets etc. However, for bluetooth you must have Windows 10.

I cannot promise what you linked is the same as the Xbox One S version - but it sure looks like it.

The Xbox One S controller has Bluetooth. This makes it potentially compatible with many devices (but I'm not holding my breath). The original Xbox One controller needed a dongle for wireless connectivity. Both can be connected via the USB cable to be a wired controller.
