I sold my GTX 980, which GPU should I go with a 2560x1080 panel.

I have a limited budget but I want to for a 1070, what are my other options

Go for GTX 1070 if you have a limited budget.

well going from 980 to 1070 is kinda a sideways upgrade, it would make more sense to either

A: see if you can get a 1080 used 

B: save some more and get a 1080 new

or C: save even more and get a 1080ti
