im having trouble picking a good gpu for my new build and i cant decide what i would like to choose

$300 - $400 max Canada

 

Here are 2 links i i could be thiking of buying

 

-Sapphire Radeon HD 7970

 

OR

 

-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770

 

or somthing else thats a better deal

Non reference r9-290

If you can't wait or can't afford non-reference 290, just go with the reference. Yes it runs hot, yes it runs loud, but damn does it perform well! If you aren't planning to CF it then really, it doesn't matter all that much if you can't get non-reference for whatever reason.

Gibabyte's 770 is a good Choice. But I would Advice you to wait for non reference 290.

 

Also there is alot of things to consider now when choosing a GPU.

- like are you gonna want to games stream to a shield (in light of recent new shield like devices)

- Are you interested with Mantle and its implications

- Is G-sync more important and relevant to your gaming needs. 

- Bundled games! :D
