graphic card bios update help?

Hello...

does reference card need bios update or it can be updated by nvidia driver i hv msi gtx 1080 fe whenever i try to update the bios from their website it gives me error live update 6 app

Uhhh they should not have to have a BIOS update, the driver update should take care of that but IDK much about this

A driver update is different from a BIOS update. You can certainly update your video card's BIOS independent from the driver, but just like with the motherboard BIOS, unless you're encountering problems, it's best to just not do it.

i talk to msi moderator he told me this about serial number and bios version

It uses a nvidia reference vbios and no MSI one. Also juding by S/N there is no MSI version for it. That is also the reason Live Update doesn't work. Try contacting MSI directly about it: >>How to contact MSI.<<

 

what should i do next ?i hv never updated my bios till now but my card is msi gtx 1080 fe not aftermarket card i know...!

Any particular reason you are trying to update it in the first place?
