Wrist Rest?

I have a Corsair Strafe keyboard, which is a standard full Cherry MX layout. I was wondering how much of a difference a wrist rest would make for comfort. Anyone have experience with one?

I have the strafe RGB Silent edition and up until recently I used it with the wrist rest that it comes with. It does help a little as it straightens out the angle slightly that your wrists are at which over time will help prevent carpel tunnel syndrome if you do alot of typing.

I don't have one built in, that's why I was wondering. I have an older glorious deskpad and it has worked quite well.
