So i'm planning a build with an 1800X as I want the extra threads, sick of dropping frames while streaming + I generally run lots of things at once (I have 3 monitors, so I typically run a game, OBS, Skype/Discord, 100 google chrome tabs. sometimes multiple games at once)

I want this build to have premium components, by that I mean it's well balanced in the sense that everything is top end (That doesn't mean i'll be buying a 6950X and 4-way SLI 1080Ti's)

Here's what I've got so far : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/BqXKM8

1800X, Vega's top end card (whatever it is when it comes out, it's already been shown playing DOOM and Battlefront at 4k with 70FPS)

Crossair VI afaik is the top-end Ryzen motherboard, I like the TridentZ RGB RAM and it's got enough speed to keep the 1800X fed, and I've got an X62 so I can try clock the 1800X to 4GHZ or higher if i'm lucky.

Not sure about the PSU - I have a RM550X at the minute but I'm not running a massive OC and i'm not SLIng anything so hard to judge how good it is.

As for the case, S340 elite seems fine, I was considering the Corsair Crystal 500X RGB but from the reviews I read it's garbage but looks nice, any other recommendations for a nice, not too big case with tempered glass and decent features?

Let me know what you think of the build and if I should change anything.

If you use all the programs you mentioned simultaneously, including OBS, sometimes multiple games, streaming, a metric shitton of chrome tabs and more you might consider going with 32gb of ram. Just a suggestion, but if you want the best and you want it to last a bit I would personally go with 32gb :)

note that mx300 is not an nvme

Didn't know that. Explains why it's so cheap. I'll go with the sandisk one

I think 16GB is enough for me. I rarely go over 12.

I would go with the R7 1700 or R7 1700X over the more expensive 1800X. You should get a good overclock on that Asus board.

Also be aware that you need a mounting kit for the AM4 socket as AM4 isn't backward compatible with AM3+. You can request one from NZXT.

And Ryzen has/had issues with high frequency ram. Not sure if this has been addressed yet. I would personally go with 2400MHz - 2666MHz.

If you only plan to run a single gpu then your RMx 550W is enough.
