As a small present for my birthday I got a aerocool aero 500 pc case and I installed everything my self from my old pc but I am unfortunately not great with the physical side of computers and now when I turn it on it gives me an error saying, "overcurrent on USB detected pc will shut down in 15 seconds" I disconnected the new case USB and also tried to put it back in the old case as well as check for any bends on the motherboard and USB ports and it's all fine.

I have a h81m-e33 mobo

1060 3gb gpu

650w psu

a stock cpu cooler

aerocool 500 fan

a DVD reader (not sure what it's called)

and a 1 terabyte hd

with windows 7 64bit

If there are any pictures that could help please tell me. I am currently on my phone.

you probably slid one of the I/O shield fins into the USB socket when installing the MB.

Is that the little metal thing around the motherboards USB? Because I have a razor chroma and a light up mouse and I tried plugging them into every USB and they light up
