Laser problem

Hi forum!

 

So, I bought a laser pointer (simple pen type, 5mw), but few days after using that i noticed a problem that there is a little gap between a wall and a battery, that leads to very small power laser dot on the wall, etc, becouse laser cant get enough juice for stronger beam. what should i do? Becouse the lower battery cant get into contact, I tried duck taping batteries, didnt workout, i cant really stuff anything in there, becouse then batteries wont fit
