so ive been having some issues with my first build *kill me*, and i noticed that before the ram LED turns on (which i knew of, i rmaed my ram and now imma my mobo bcus my ram works), the cpu led flashes. these are the ez debug leds on the mobo. am i overworrying/ or will this be fixed my a replacement mobo,?

its just the led turning on & off quickly. sorry for being so worried this is my first build, i got everything weeks ago, nothing has worked and im very stressed

If it turns off you're fine. Your manual says it will stay on or flashing if there's a problem.

 

It's okay to be worried. Stuff not working can indeed be really frustrating.

also the 24 pin didnt fully *clip* in. it went nearly all in but didnt click. thats ok right

It's the same thing from looking at the manual for the msi board. Like a car, problem means light will stay on.

 

The 24 pin should be secure. Try reseating it?

i took everything apart, and i cant test now anyway, i have no ram ( i tried to rma it)

Hello, i have the same board,

when u turn it on its gonna flash the lights as it check/tells you if they will work, it turns off after its it doesnt something is wrong

 

for fun build:

i5 7500 kaby lake

msi b250

g skill 16gb 2133mhz

Evga 1060 6gb SC

hyper 212 evo

corsair 650w bronze

2x intake 1 exhaust fan

right, nearly the same just make sure u press it down so it clicks shouldnt take all of your force but i cant take abit, make sure ur pull the clip on the 24 pin power connector

make sure u connect the 8 pin Cpu power connector and the rest of the stuffs turn on it should post /boot if u have windows 10 installed

i have no ram. also this is my first build and i havent even booted yet as i think my mobo is dead (it says the ram is the issue but the ram works)
