Hi guys.

I decided to make a water cooled system in a 900d case. I'd like to cool two EVGA GTX 1080 SC and one i7 6800k.

For the top I planned to have one EKWB EK-Coolstream SE 360 with 3 Corsair SP 120 PWM and for the bottom one EKWB EK-Coolstream PE 480 with 4 Corsair SP 120 PWM.

Now for the pump I thought about an EKWB EK-XTop Revo D5 PWM, but does this pump have enough power for such a build? Or do I need to have two of them?

And for the reservoir an EKWB EK-RES X3 250.

An other thing I am not sure about is the tubing. I want to do hard tubing but I am not sure if acrylic is the best choice. Or do you guys recommend PETG?

Since this is my first build I would be happy if you could help me out with some tips for beginners:)

Sincerly and thanks for your help

A single D5 wouldn't have any trouble with that, the main thing that would cause restriction is a large number of water blocks. All of those items look to be a good start, for tubing PETG is the most popular due to it's relative ease of work and durability, however it does not have the same clarity as acrylic.

So if I go with an EKWB EK-Supremacy EVO X99 and two  EK-FC1080 GTX I should be fine?

Pump wont matter if its quality. Temps will be the same with 2 blocks or 8.

Yes it will still be able to keep up without any issue really after you go into the region of 4 GPU's and CPU's is when dual pumps may be something to consider due to the large amount of restriction. However that is very generalized.

I dont know too much about the case but i do know that  while it may be thin the coolstream se doesnt really perform (look at xtremerigs.net 2016 radiator roundup)

D5s are powerful so you should be just fine

you should look into the monsoon modular reservoir system they look sick also you can integrate a pump into them with a nice color

Yes do hard tubing! :) It may be a pain but there relally isnt another reason not to do it and it looks amazing

i dont really think there would be too many advantages/disadvantages to using acrylic vs petg, if you don't have any alcohol based stuff in the coolant like antifreeze in it it should be fine

Agreed, the se 360 is bad. Gonna swapping mine out this weekend.

Get the thicker lower fpi versions from ek or someone else's rad.
