Hey guys,

I want to start building my pc, I have all of my parts other than the 1080 ti. This build will take me longer than any of my past builds so I'd like to get started early. Is it possible/safe to set up PC with OS and other software from the fans and ROG mobo with just the integrated graphics on the intel 7700k?

Thanks

I don't see that it should pose a problem.  You'll just need to change drivers once you get the 1080ti.

Typically, you wouldn't need to change drivers, as when you install any proper Graphics card drivers, it should disable the intel HD drivers. So that if the system is booted up without a GPU in it all of a sudden, the Nvidia/AMD graphics driver will reactivate the Intel HD drivers until a card is reinserted into the system and detected at startup. (personal experience)
